Rambling on about things that are trivial has no positive consequence.  And, in fact, it's getting the way of speaking things of importance.  Choose your words.  Look at the situation.  What is important to speak?  Sometimes silence can be a 'speaking' of sorts, for silence brings space to bring thoughtful speaking forth.
